As a Security Officer Driver Authorization in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in job state. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and bring integrity, teamwork, agility, and reliability to daily security-related responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification practices, and/or security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, maintain visitor logs, and/or help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, control points, and perimeter areas, noting potential concerns and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
