As a recognized leader in the industry, Global currently has an immediate career opportunity at our Marlton NJ distribution center. The successful The SQ Specialist candidate will be responsible for processing SQ requests accurately and efficiently to support smooth day-to-day order flow operations. This role works closely with internal departments to resolve SQ-related issues, support process improvements, and help meet customer expectations. The SQ Specialist handles routine and moderately complex SQ tasks, ensures requests are completed in a timely manner, and collaborates with team members and cross-functional partners to maintain operational efficiency and accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the SQ Mailbox ensuring all SQ requests are completed
  • Confirm POs conform with QT prior to processing
  • If PO is not accurate or complete, work with appropriate parties to resolve
  • Monitor and update assigned SQ requests to ensure timely completion
  • Set up all SQ's for Assigned Region and provide back-up for other team members
  • Review SQs for accuracy and completeness prior to processing
  • Utilize and update SQ Templates for GPO's, State Contracts and GSA
  • Reconciling any Contract changes with the SQ team as provided by the Contracts Admin team.
  • Review any errors or issues with Quotes provided by the Project Quote team to ensure accuracy
  • Assist/Interface with 3rd Party bills and credits as it relates to SQ's
  • File Documents in accordance with local guidelines
  • Ability to work independently on complex projects
  • Independently work on special projects
  • Assist with process support for SQ team members as needed
  • Escalating to management any issues related to the creation/modification of the SQ that would require the intervention of other department managers/ IT/Pricing/ Contracts Admin/ Customer Care
  • Extend the Expiration Date of SQs in AS400 and Opportunities/Quotes in CRM as required
  • Enter Market Segment details into commercial orders as needed
  • Additional Duties as Assigned

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military equivalent.
  • Articulate email, fax and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Actual base pay offered will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
