Join our team as a vital Pharmacy Operations Specialist, working directly with a leading pharmacy client through Aquent! This is your chance to make a tangible difference in patient lives every single day, ensuring seamless access to critical medications. You'll be at the heart of pharmacy operations, directly impacting efficiency and patient satisfaction by expertly managing prescription processes and providing essential support. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers a pathway to long-term impact and growth within a dynamic healthcare environment.

This is a temp-perm assignment through Aquent working with a major pharmacy client. In this role, you will assist in preparing and distributing prescription medications using the automated fulfillment system.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

What You'll Do



  • Prescription Processing: Resolve billing rejects and proactively contact patients or doctors when issues arise, ensuring smooth medication delivery.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter patient demographics and prescription details into the system, maintaining precise records.
  • Problem Solving: Research insurance rejections and escalate complex questions to a Pharmacist, contributing to effective resolution.
  • Patient & Doctor Support: Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with professionalism and empathy, providing essential communication.


What You'll Bring



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
  • Active state Pharmacy Registration/Certification (as required).
  • Basic computer proficiency.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.38 to $20 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
