Pharmacy Technician

Join our team as a vital Pharmacy Operations Specialist, working directly with a leading pharmacy client through Aquent! This is a temp-perm assignment through Aquent working with a major pharmacy client. In this role, you will assist in preparing and distributing prescription medications using the automated fulfillment system.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

What You'll Do

• Prescription Processing: Resolve billing rejects and proactively contact patients or doctors when issues arise, ensuring smooth medication delivery.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter patient demographics and prescription details into the system, maintaining precise records.
• Problem Solving: Research insurance rejections and escalate complex questions to a Pharmacist, contributing to effective resolution.
• Patient & Doctor Support: Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with professionalism and empathy, providing essential communication.

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Active state Pharmacy Registration/Certification (as required).
• Basic computer proficiency.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.38 to $20 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
