  • Rigorously review and groom incoming work, ensuring it meets the team's "definition of ready" before proceeding to development.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather complete requirements, answer questions, and facilitate the progression of requests.
  • Lead operational backlog management efforts, working hand-in-hand with an Agile development team.
  • Actively participate in daily standups, backlog refinement sessions, and planning meetings as the operational lead.
  • Coordinate with developers, the Scrum Master, and internal stakeholders to keep tactical website enhancements on track and delivered on time.
  • Manage a wide array of ongoing website maintenance requests, content updates, compliance-driven changes, legal updates, and other essential operational tasks.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for stakeholders, effectively managing communications and escalating strategic decisions to leadership when necessary.
  • Proactively identify and champion opportunities to enhance operational processes and backlog management, contributing to continuous improvement within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a hands-on, operational product-focused role, specifically supporting web platforms.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize a dynamic operational backlog.
  • Experience with intake and triage processes for incoming work requests.
  • Proficiency in grooming work items to meet a "definition of ready" for development teams.
