Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift, Monday - Friday. Shifts will be scheduled 8:00 AM -4:30 PM during training. Once training is complete, there is additional flexibility that will be discussed in the interview process. This is a hybrid position. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Reimbursement Representative Lead to:

  • Be responsible for monitoring a large portfolio of account receivables and is engaged in proactive collection of outstanding balances.
  • Answer questions regarding team functions, assist management with team direction, and monitor the accuracy and timely processing of appeals to various payers or programs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role Required
  • 1 year experience in a healthcare revenue cycle operations role plus 1 year of prior leadership experience. Required
  • Epic experience
  • Three years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or clinic operations role with progressive leadership responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, CPT, ICD coding structures, and billing forms (UB, 1500)
