Sr. INRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER- ONSITE 4 DAYS IN BOSTON -NO RELOCATION CANDIDATES -MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DIRECTLY ON A W2 WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP. THIS INCLUDES OPT. NO C2C!! -CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS -PAY RATE - $80-90/HR ON W2 Position Summary The Division of Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale IT infrastructure initiatives that support university strategic goals. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex projects while managing stakeholders, vendors, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, infrastructure knowledge, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field required. Master's degree and PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 certification preferred. Experience 8+ years of IT project management experience leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives. Experience delivering infrastructure, network, cloud, ERP, CRM, or data integration projects. Strong background managing stakeholders, vendors, budgets, and cross-functional teams. Proven ability to influence outcomes, manage change, and mitigate project risks. Skills Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and ServiceNow. Strong communication, leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills. Experience with network infrastructure, structured cabling (fiber, copper, coaxial), telecommunications, and vendor management. Familiarity with BICSI standards, AutoCAD, construction documentation, UPS systems, and device lifecycle management preferred. Project Leadership Lead planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure and technology projects. Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and project documentation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. Infrastructure & Vendor Management Oversee network, cabling, telecommunications, and construction-related technology projects. Manage vendors, contractors, procurement, and installation activities. Monitor project progress, quality, materials, and service delivery. Stakeholder & Team Management Serve as the primary liaison between business, technical, and executive stakeholders. Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Reporting & Financial Oversight Track project performance, budgets, and financials. Deliver status reports, executive updates, and post-project reviews. Financial Responsibility Manage project budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial accountability while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
