Chassis Vehicle Science Responsible, Advanced

Advanced VSR - VCDY (Chassis & Dynamics) will be responsible to lead and manage the planning, design concepts, and integration of VCDY components and systems for future vehicles. The scope of the advanced project management time frame is from conception to Contract Milestone. Responsibilities include:


  • Planning and defining the scope of the program and its individual components
  • Ensure program goals are met regarding quality, cost, timing and performance
  • Define with technical team efficient technical solutions to achieve program objectives
  • Set up vehicle sourcing plan
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to contribute to make / buy solutions
  • Cross functional interaction with PDO, VCDY, manufacturing and other pillar functions to ensure feasibility of vehicle functional objectives
  • Track and report out on key performance indicators
  • Ensure all issues are properly escalated on a timely manner
  • Report out on program metrics and status on a regular basis


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related degree field.
  • Minimum 10 years of engineering design and development experience.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with confidence and persuasive skills in presenting to Senior Management
  • Must be able to lead a team of functional team members
  • Strong written and verbal skills


Preferred Qualifications



  • Demonstrated Experience in Design and Release of Chassis Components
  • Experience with Ride and Handling Performance Metrics
