Lakeside Foods New Richmond produces a variety of canned vegetable goods and ships them out all over the country. Our maintenance team is responsible for keeping the equipment running. If you like a fast-paced environment with hands on work that keeps you busy, you'll love the work you'll perform here. We have miles of can track that bring an empty can through the canning room, into the cookers and back to the warehouse as a finished product to be labeled and sent out to customers all over the U.S. You'll have the opportunity to get to know many different aspects of production and just how much goes into putting a vegetable into a can for your green bean casserole at your next holiday gathering.

What You'll Get:

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus

• Enjoy a 4-day work week during our off season, December to June
• Production Season, running approximately from June - November, this position will work the overnight 12-hour shifts, 4 days on 2 days off rotating schedule

What You'll Do:

• Repair and maintain a wide variety of food processing machinery and conveyers.
• Work with fabrication, installation of equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Assist with maintaining product flow through the plant as needed
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies, procedures, and training requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Prior experience with mechanical maintenance preferred
• Prior welding experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Must have a great safety attitude
• Willingness to learn/enhance skills through on the job training
