Main Duties & Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY: The role of the Quality Floor Inspector is to ensure consistent quality of products and processes. This is accomplished by implementing inspection specifications, operational procedures and instructions to ensure compliance to specified requirements. The Quality Floor Inspector also provides support to the operation through assisting with the training and development of manufacturing associates as it relates to quality.
Partial list of job duties, responsibilities & requirements:
* Perform incoming receiving inspection.
* Calibrate equipment and gages.
* Perform specific inspection activities as needed.
* Perform production audits.
* Perform internal audits.
* Lead root cause and corrective action activities.
* Provide support for other various activities supporting quality and production.
* Assist with training and development of our workforce as it relates to product/process quality.
* Ability to work independently and with others.
* Must be organized and have time management skills.
* Ability to make decisions and problem solve.
* Understanding of measuring equipment.
* Ability to use computer.
* Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years in production environment
1+ years performing quality-related activity
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Experience using handheld measurement devices (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Mechanical Aptitude - able to troubleshoot equipment/processes for root cause analysis
Good verbal and written communication skills

Exhibits a Positive Attitude and Professionalism

Works well under pressure and tight deadlines
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
