Senior Manager, Data Architecture & Engineering

As a Senior Manager, Enterprise Data Architecture & Engineering, you will define the future state of the data landscape, guide Lakehouse and cloud platform strategy, and establish architecture standards that support scalable analytics, business intelligence, operational reporting, and data-driven innovation.

Working with business leaders, architects, engineers, and technology stakeholders, you will influence enterprise data initiatives, shape decisions across complex domains, and create a durable foundation for long-term growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, enterprise data platforms, or related technical leadership roles.
• Experience defining and implementing enterprise-scale data architecture strategies across complex business environments.
• Strong background in cloud-native data platforms, enterprise integration, data modeling, governance, and modern data ecosystem design.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead enterprise technology initiatives, and communicate clearly across business and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Commodity Trading, Capital Markets, or other data-intensive industries.
• Expertise in Data Product, Data Mesh, and domain-driven architecture concepts.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Azure Data Platform Services, AWS Data Services, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with real-time, event-driven, and streaming architecture patterns.
• Experience establishing architecture governance, reference architectures, design standards, or cloud modernization practices.
• Architecture certifications in major cloud platforms or Databricks preferred.

Level: Senior Manager

Compensation: Depending on experience: $160,000 - 210,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
