As a Security Officer Full Time Port Terminal in Dundalk, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. Use communication and computer skills to document activity while working collaboratively with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and policies at a government port location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, terminal areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle access in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
