Position Title: CNC Operator
Wage: $54,080.00-$60,320.00/year Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Kenosha, WI. This position is responsible for operating CNC machining equipment, monitoring production, performing quality checks, and making basic machine adjustments to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently. This is a great direct hire opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements - Load and unload parts and raw materials - Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications - Monitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustments - Perform basic CNC offsets and machine adjustments as needed - Change tooling and assist with basic machine setups - Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements - Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges - Identify machining or quality issues and notify appropriate personnel - Complete required production and quality documentation - Perform routine machine checks and maintain a clean, organized work area - Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures CNC Operator Requirements: - Previous CNC machine operating or machining experience preferred - Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes is a plus - Ability to read and understand basic blueprints - Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools - Ability to make basic offsets and tooling adjustments preferred - Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail - Ability to troubleshoot basic machining issues - Comfortable working independently and as part of a manufacturing team - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing position - Preferred experience: CNC machine setup and operation, CNC milling or turning, blueprint reading, tool changes, machine offsets, precision measurement, quality inspection, manufacturing or machine shop QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
