Now Hiring: Lead Maintenance Mechanic (Direct Hire) Location: Ayer, MA Pay Rate: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: 1st Shift \| Monday-Friday \| 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime as needed We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Mechanic to oversee maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while mentoring maintenance team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technicians Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and production equipment Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and line calls Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability Assist with equipment installations and process improvements Support high-speed automated production systems Promote safe work practices and maintenance standards Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects and repairs Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Health Savings Account (HSA) Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance *Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
