Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall environmental standards of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.

• Ensure resident rooms, common areas, offices, and facility grounds are maintained in a clean, sanitary, safe, and odor-free condition.

• Develop and manage housekeeping schedules, assignments, and daily priorities.

• Train, coach, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure consistent performance and compliance with facility standards.

• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and cleaning products are available.

• Ensure proper infection-control, sanitation, and safety practices are followed.

• Conduct routine inspections and address cleanliness or maintenance concerns promptly.

• Work collaboratively with Nursing, Maintenance, Dietary, and Administration to support overall facility operations.

• Respond professionally to resident, family, and staff concerns related to cleanliness and environmental services.

• Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare, OSHA, infection-control, and facility policies and procedures.

• Participate in inspections, audits, and quality-improvement initiatives as needed.

Schedule

Full-time | 24/7 Healthcare Environment/on call

This position may require flexibility to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have housekeeping or environmental services leadership experience, preferably within a healthcare setting, rehabilitation, assisted living, or similar setting. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential
