Physician Practice Manager Schedule: Full Time Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 / Hourly Shift: Day shift Hours: 8am - 5pm About this role Job Summary Under the direction of the Service-Line Director, the Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GI clinic, human resources, and finance/revenue cycle functions of the practice, as well as the relationships between the GI Clinic and both the Hospital Endoscopy Center & Emerson Endoscopy and Digestive Health Center (EDHC). The Practice Manager promotes a high-quality experience for patients, staff and providers, by promoting provider engagement, staff development, and a sound revenue cycle process. This role will follow hospital and practice policies, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a positive work environment. The Practice Manager will exhibit strong leadership skills, organizational skills, and a focus on operational efficiency. These essential skills will enhance the practice and help deliver exceptional healthcare services to the patients the practice serves. The Practice Manager will report to, and work closely with, the Administrative Director, managing the designated Emerson Practice Associates (EPA) employed practice. Minimum Qualifications Education Associates degree in business, finance or health care administration preferred Experience Two to five years of work experience, with management and staff responsibility, in a medical office or related business environment desirable Licensure and/or Certification Skills Knowledge of managed care, claims submission, and patient collections desirable Experience filing insurance claims and understanding reimbursement requirements desirable Experience with patient scheduling and patient flow in a medical practice, desirable Experience with practice management & EMR software desirable Knowledge of medical office operations, safety and AAAHC, HIPAA and OSHA requirements desirable Knowledge of clinical billing and collections laws and regulations including CPT and ICD-9 desirable To apply, please visit: https://emersonhealth.org/jobs/physician-practice-manager-35159/?
