Temple University's Beasley School of Law is searching for a Legal Assistant! Become a part of the Temple family and you will have access to the following: Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 Position Summary The Legal Assistant is responsible for coordinating travel arrangements for assigned faculty members through Temple University's travel agency, reviewing faculty business expenses for compliance with University policies and submitting reimbursement requests, and providing support for course administration through Canvas, including posting announcements, materials, and other course-related content. The Legal Assistant also supports faculty classroom and event-related activities, including reserving space within the Law School, coordinating catering and food orders, supply orders, managing faculty textbook orders, and assisting with the preparation, editing, formatting, and proofreading of correspondence, academic materials, scholarly publications, and other documents as well as other duties as assigned. As needed, the Legal Assistant provides administrative support for faculty grant-funded initiatives, including research, training, and other programmatic activities. The position also supports student-facing responsibilities and activities. To ensure continuity of operations, the Legal Assistant collaborates with colleagues and provides coverage for other Legal Assistants' faculty portfolios during absences. In addition, this role will proctor exams at the end of each semester and be on-site to support Graduation activities at the end of the Spring semester.
