Overview

Navy Federal Credit Union currently does not provide sponsorship for this role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Supports the Regulatory Liaison Office by coordinating administrative activities, leadership support, regulatory meeting logistics, team events, communications, and records. Maintains calendars, schedules, documentation, distribution lists, and recurring team materials to support timely and organized execution of RLO activities.

Works closely with RLO leaders, team members, business partners, and regulatory contacts to coordinate established activities and ensure accurate and timely follow-up. This role does not independently manage regulatory examinations, interpret regulatory requirements, or lead RLO projects and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support RLO leadership through calendar management, travel coordination, expense processing, and other administrative activities
  • Coordinate regulatory examination, and internal stakeholder meeting logistics, including scheduling, facilities, audiovisual support, materials, and communications
  • Assist in planning and executing RLO events, engagement activities, and recognition programs, including vendor coordination, budgeting, catering, supplies, and related logistics
  • Maintain RLO administrative records and communications, including distribution lists, calendars, weekly rundowns, key date updates, onboarding and offboarding activities, and document retention activities
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for workspace assignments, work orders, and other day-to-day operational support activities, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Support the execution of business projects by coordinating daily tasks, schedules, and deliverables
  • Maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and meeting notes
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and tracking action items
  • Coordinate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Monitor project timelines and escalate delays or issues to project managers
  • Support the use of project management tools and templates to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and preparation of project updates for leadership
  • Ensure adherence to project standards and support compliance with governance requirements
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role.
  • Understanding of project management fundamentals and delivery workflows
  • Proficiency in organizing project schedules, meetings, and documentation
  • Skill in tracking project tasks, milestones, and deliverables
  • Ability to support communication between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities and maintaining accurate records
  • Experience supporting project execution in a structured, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in using project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet)
  • Ability to escalate issues and support resolution in collaboration with project leads
  • High School Diploma

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business, or related field.
  • Associate-level project management certification (e.g., CAPM)
  • Exposure to project management principles
