Department Description

Under the general direction of the Chief Information and Digital Strategy Executive (CIDSE), the Digital Strategy Business Analyst provides business analysis, research, and hands-on project execution in support of IDSO strategic initiatives and IT governance. The incumbent listens past the immediate ask to the underlying business need; investigates questions through a wide range of methods, looking outward to how peer institutions and industry approach similar challenges; and distills what they learn into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-making.

The Digital Strategy Business Analyst designs the frameworks, processes, and tools needed to carry out IDSO initiatives and IT Governance Committee work. They shepherd each effort from early planning through final delivery. The incumbent keeps the moving pieces connected, surfaces obstacles early, and sees commitments through. At every stage, they ensure the CIDSE, committees, and stakeholders have a current picture of where things stand. #CA-AR
