Role Summary This role is for a Procurement Buyer who will be responsible for end-to-end management of purchasing and subcontracting activities. The position focuses on analyzing material needs in Oracle/MRP systems, soliciting and evaluating supplier RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs, and performing cost and price analysis to support sound sourcing decisions. This role will negotiate with suppliers to meet program cost and schedule targets, prepares and administers purchase orders and subcontracts, and ensures on-time delivery while controlling costs. The role also acts as the main link between suppliers and our GDLS teams, coordinating source selection, managing quality, design, and payment issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable procurement laws and regulations.
