How can you make an impact?

We are seeking a Designer to join our Field Design group within our K-12 School business. This Designer will be part of an in-house creative team responsible for conceptualizing, executing, and producing marketing collateral and projects tailored to meet the needs of the K-12 Sales and Communications teams. Collaborating with the Creative Director, Production Supervisor, and other Designers, the Designer will create effective visual communication solutions across print, email, web, digital, presentations, social media, and other collateral needed to support sales, marketing, and brand engagement communications and events.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You'll Do:

• Conceptualize and execute design solutions to support needs of Sales, Communications, and Brand functions of the business.
• Possess strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, a high-level sense of design, layout, and typography; a broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions
• Having the desire to not just create, but to elevate the craft and quality of our work; while adhering to brand voice and established brand standards
• Fostering an environment of empathy, teamwork, support, and departmental success; the ability to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
• Ownership of your work and schedule, consistently communicating and delivering against tight deadlines and managing your time efficiently
• Solid foundational skills and strong attention to detail to file-building, file-naming, version control, print and digital production basics
• Ability to translate abstract thinking and ideas into actionable strategies and tangible outputs
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, presenting work effectively, and selling ideas effectively
• Proven ability to keep up with creative and industry trends and apply new principles to design solutions

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, or a related field
• 2-3+ years of design experience working within a team
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express)
• Fluency in print production, digital, social, and web standards and processes
• Fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Working knowledge of video editing and motion graphics software (Premiere, After Effects)
• Strong organizational skills to learn, understand, and maintain processes and and procedures
• Highly motivated, self-starter with proven ability to work independently as well as transparently within a high-performing and supportive team
• Courage to take smart risks that lead to innovative design solutions with the mindset that failure is okay as long as we learn from it and quickly pivot
• Willingness to embrace ambiguity, with the ability to connect the dots to bring clarity to design challenges in order to provide the best solution
• Curiosity and communication skills to seek understanding and collaboration so we can learn from each other to product our best work
• Flexibility and proficiency to move throughout all stages of design development-from strategic conceptual thinking to pixel-perfect delivery
• A link to a portfolio of work examples demonstrating strong visual sensibilities, compelling ideas, and a thorough understanding of design process
• Experience in illustration, photography, and videography strongly preferred

The pay range for this position is between $55,000 - $60,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
