Production Technician

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, production, trade school, or technical training preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, casting, metal fabrication, aerospace, or industrial operations preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment and using measuring tools such as calipers, scales, tape measures, and power tools.
• Ability to work within quality systems and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Experience performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of casting, coating, investment, breakout/washout, or other industrial manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production teams.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive work throughout the shift.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, protective hoods, and other safety equipment.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, varying temperatures, and around chemicals with proper training and protective equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment cleaning and basic maintenance activities as needed.

Job Duties

• Perform coating, investment, casting, breakout, and washout operations used to manufacture high-performance metal foam products.
• Operate specialized manufacturing equipment and utilize precision measuring tools to verify product quality and specifications.
• Follow all SOPs, Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and process records.
• Support production schedules and work collaboratively to meet manufacturing goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, cleaning, and 6S workplace organization activities.
• Use hand tools and measuring devices to complete production and inspection tasks.
• Maintain certifications and training requirements for assigned production departments.
• Safely work with hazardous materials and manufacturing processes while following all PPE and safety requirements.
• Assist with additional production and facility support duties as assigned.
