Schedule/Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day; standard daytime schedule; overtime may be required

Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist II supports warehouse material and inventory operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and storing materials, and picking and staging materials to support operational requirements. This role performs cycle counts, verifies material quantities and locations, resolves routine discrepancies, and maintains an organized work area. The position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow established warehouse and material control procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials.
• Pick and prepare materials for orders.
• Verify material quantities and inventory locations.
• Move and organize materials throughout the facility.
• Identify and assist with resolving routine inventory discrepancies.
• Follow established warehouse, material handling, and inventory procedures.
• Maintain an organized, accurate, and safe work area.
• Use basic computer systems to support inventory activities.
• Perform other material control and inventory duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous cycle-counting or inventory experience required.
• Warehouse, stockroom, material handling, order picking, or inventory control experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite warehouse or material control environment.
• Linux experience is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work a standard 40-hour schedule with possible overtime.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Work Experience

• Previous cycle-counting or inventory experience required.
• Warehouse inventory, stockroom, material handling, order picking, or inventory control experience is preferred.
