Global Planning AI Agent Product Owner Student Program

STUDENT PROGRAM FORMAT:

This student program will follow an in-person model. Students will be based onsite at the Stellantis Headquarters & Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Students are expected to work 24 hours per week, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Candidates who are selected for the program will work with their manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule where candidates fulfill the 24-hour requirement, while balancing their class schedule. During the summer months, students may potentially work 40 hours per week. This determination will be at management's discretion. Student program cohorts start on a quarterly basis in January, April, June, and September, and students are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

Students will be assigned to a department based on the candidate's background and skill set. DEPARTMENT DETAILS:

Global Planning is transforming how planning work gets done through AI, automation, data-driven insights, and new ways of working. The Global Planning AI & Data Business Hub partners with Global Planning leaders, AI Ambassadors, business process owners, data teams, ICT, and AI delivery teams to identify practical AI opportunities, prioritize the highest-value use cases, and turn business needs into trusted AI-enabled solutions that can be embedded into day-to-day planning operations.

This student program position will support the Global Planning AI & Data Product Owner workstream at a practical, working level. The student will help create, test, and improve AI agents and AI-enabled tools for Global Planning use cases. This includes supporting agents for planning analysis, executive summaries, governance reviews, competitive intelligence, roadmap development, project intake, prioritization, and business value tracking. The role will also help translate business needs into clear requirements, organize knowledge sources, document agent logic, support testing, gather user feedback, and help ensure solutions are useful, reliable, and aligned with Global Planning priorities.

BASIC QUALIFICATONS:



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university


  • Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study at the time of hire


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications


  • Proficient in AI-enabled productivity tools


  • Able to work 24 hours per week, year-round



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solvingskills


  • Strong written and oral communication skills


  • Good interpersonal skills


  • Ability to work in a teamenvironment


  • Interest in AI, automation, data analytics, business transformation, or digital tools


  • Experience using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot agents, Power Platform, or other AI-enabled productivity tools


  • Ability to help organize knowledge sources, document requirements, test AI agents, and summarize user feedback


  • Comfortable working with data, process maps, business requirements, and project tracking information


  • Strong interest in the automotive industry and how AI can improve planning decisions, efficiency, and business outcomes
