AI Governance Operations Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:
The AI Governance Operations Analyst supports the day-to-day operation of Claritev's Responsible AI governance program, helping ensure AI initiatives move efficiently and consistently through established governance processes.
Reporting to the Lead Project Manager supporting Responsible AI, this role coordinates governance intake and reviews, maintains governance records and documentation, tracks decisions and requirements, follows up on outstanding actions, and provides process guidance to requestors. The Analyst works closely with Responsible AI leadership and stakeholders across AI, Technology, Security, Architecture, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Procurement, and business teams.
The primary outcome of this role is a reliable, transparent, and well-operated AI governance process where requests continue moving, decisions and requirements are accurately documented, outstanding actions remain visible, and the Responsible AI team has dependable information to manage its governance responsibilities.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage day-to-day AI governance intake by reviewing submissions for completeness, obtaining missing information, routing requests to appropriate reviewers, and tracking requests through established governance workflows.
* Coordinate governance reviews and forums by preparing agendas and materials, organizing submissions, documenting decisions and conditions, and tracking resulting actions.
* Maintain accurate governance records, including request status, classifications, approvals, conditions, required artifacts, outstanding actions, key dates, and supporting evidence.
* Track governance requirements and controls resulting from Responsible AI, Security, Architecture, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and other reviews through completion.
* Coordinate routine follow-up with requestors and reviewers to keep governance activities progressing and provide clear guidance on requirements, next steps, and outstanding items.
* Support operational governance of AI pilots, proofs of concept, AI tools, and enterprise AI initiatives by tracking scope, approvals, conditions, milestones, evaluation requirements, and required follow-up.
* Identify overdue actions, stalled reviews, missing documentation, dependencies, and other blockers and escalate issues requiring prioritization or intervention to the Lead Project Manager.
* Maintain operational data and reporting on governance intake, workload, review status, aging, outstanding actions, approvals, pilots, and other key governance activities.
* Support ongoing monitoring and reassessment activities by tracking evidence, exceptions, control requirements, implementation status, and reassessment dates.
* Maintain Responsible AI procedures, templates, guidance, checklists, and other operational documentation supporting consistent execution of governance processes.
* Identify recurring process gaps and operational pain points and support implementation of approved workflow, documentation, tooling, and process improvements.
* Provide additional operational and project support to the Responsible AI team as needed to support enterprise AI governance priorities.

REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, technology, project management, operations, risk management, compliance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
* Experience supporting operations, program/project coordination, governance, risk, compliance, technology, or a related function.
* Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, dependencies, and follow-up activities.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and workflow information.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and follow actions through completion.
* Ability to work within established processes while recognizing issues that require escalation or additional review.
* Proficiency with standard productivity, workflow, documentation, and collaboration tools.
Preferred
* Experience supporting AI governance, data governance, technology governance, model risk, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, or another risk-management function.
* Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, or AI development environments.
* Experience supporting governance committees, review boards, intake processes, approval workflows, or cross-functional programs.
* Experience with workflow platforms such as ServiceNow and maintaining operational dashboards, trackers, or systems of record.
* Familiarity with responsible AI concepts such as human oversight, model evaluation, monitoring, privacy, security, explainability, fairness, and third-party risk.
* Experience working within healthcare or another regulated industry.

Success in this role means creating a dependable operational foundation that allows Claritev's Responsible AI governance program to operate efficiently and scale as AI adoption grows. The successful candidate will help ensure:
* Governance requests move through established workflows with clear ownership and next steps.
* Governance records and supporting documentation remain accurate, complete, current, and audit-ready.
* Decisions, conditions, requirements, and outstanding actions are consistently documented and tracked through completion.
* Requestors receive timely guidance and understand what is required to progress their initiatives.
* Responsible AI leadership has reliable visibility into workload, request status, aging, bottlenecks, and outstanding governance obligations.
* Operational issues are addressed promptly, while material blockers or decision points are appropriately escalated.
* Governance processes become increasingly consistent, repeatable, and scalable.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $100k-125k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
