Could you be the full-time VIE Field Engineer in Miami we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and supportive teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in delivering Automated People Mover (APM) solutions that enhance transportation experiences for communities through Alstom's state-of-the-art technology. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Installation, and Test & Commissioning), rotate through key functions every six months, and contribute to the successful execution of projects, all while being mentored by experienced managers.

You'll specifically take care of project governance, installation supervision, and test & commissioning activities, but also contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.

We'll look to you for:

• Deploying Project Management processes and supporting internal and external interfaces.
• Planning project activities, resources, and schedules while ensuring compliance with EHS standards.
• Supervising installation contractors and ensuring quality execution of scope and standards.
• Preparing and executing tests, troubleshooting, and validating system compliance.
• Providing detailed reports, identifying risks, and proposing solutions for enhanced delivery.
• Contributing to lessons learned and process optimizations for future projects.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience or understanding of project management, installation, or test & commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts like EAC, ETC, and AC.
• Familiarity with EHS compliance and quality standards in engineering projects.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to adapt to new challenges and deliver results in a structured manner.
