At Spectrum Business, the Director of Strategic Market Sales drives acquisition and expansion efforts by recruiting, developing, and guiding sales professionals while implementing effective strategies to secure and grow national clients. How You'll Make an Impact Lead and develop a multi-faceted national sales organization focused on Fortune 1000 client acquisition and retention Design and implement sales strategies with revenue and profit attainment responsibilities Build new sales models, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and ensuring rapid revenue ramp-up Create compensation plans supporting both local and national account engagement to secure large-scale deals Analyze and report on sales funnel activity, forecasts, and results to senior leadership while tracking revenue budgets and quota attainment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support acquisition and account management functions required to meet revenue targets Guide business plan development with National Account Managers to drive growth and manage administration processes such as CRM reporting and project planning Working Conditions Office environment with travel up to 50% What You'll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Experience 10+ years directing and managing multinational or global sales organizations for a national telecom service provider 5 years managing Sales Managers Skills Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Extensive experience creating national acquisition strategies targeting Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 clients Established network of C-level contacts for positioning Spectrum Business services nationally Proven leadership in building and augmenting sales organizations Social selling and prospecting expertise Strong leadership and coaching skills for commercial sales applications Entrepreneurial initiative-taker able to achieve aggressive revenue targets independently Proficient in contract negotiations Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills for executive leadership Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Proficient with CRM tools including Siebel and Salesforce Comprehensive understanding of voice, data, equipment vendors, managed services, private networks, and SaaS services Valid state driver's license and safe driving record Preferred Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training, education, and experience #LI-MB9 SNT710 2026-83075 SNT710 2026 Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers. A qualified applicant's criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances. The base pay for this position generally is between $159,800.00 and $245,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $75,000.
