General Summary:

Mood Media is seeking an experienced operational and creative delivery leader to serve as Director of Global Media Operations & Content Services. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end service delivery engine responsible for deploying visual, audio, and digital signage content across thousands of client locations worldwide.

This is an executive operations leadership role. You will oversee globally distributed production teams, external vendor networks, and specialized media operators delivering high-volume B2B content-including digital signage networks, retail media, motion graphics, overhead messaging, and audio programming. The ideal leader excels at building scalable delivery pipelines, managing stringent client SLAs, driving workflow automation (including AI-assisted production), and upholding strict quality governance across a 24/7 global operating footprint.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service Operations, Scale & SLA Governance

  • Own end-to-end service delivery workflows: client brief intake, resource dispatch, throughput velocity, SLA compliance, and operational fulfillment across all active content lines.

  • Design, implement, and monitor operational dashboards tracking turnaround times, cost-per-asset, revision ratios, and capacity utilization across global fulfillment hubs.

  • Serve as the senior escalation point for enterprise client delivery issues, coordinating across Account Management, Field Engineering, and Technology teams to resolve blockers quickly.

  • Standardize global operating procedures (SOPs) to seamlessly integrate new service categories (e.g., retail media network ad ops, interactive display programming, dynamic content feeds) into existing workflows.

2. Global Team Leadership & Resource Strategy

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-tier global organization comprising creative leads, production artists, CMS/scheduling specialists, and outsourced vendor partners.

  • Architect a hybrid resource strategy balancing in-house talent, nearshore/offshore production centers, and specialized contractor benches to handle seasonal surges and variable volume efficiently.

  • Establish clear accountability frameworks, operational OKRs, and performance benchmarks across all technical and creative roles.

3. Content Systems, Technology & Automation

  • Partner with Product, IT, and Engineering to evaluate, deploy, and optimize the tools powering content delivery: enterprise DAMs, CMS deployment platforms, project management tools, and automated QC systems.

  • Champion the implementation of AI-assisted generation, automated template rendering, and asset versioning pipelines to expand capacity and reduce unit production costs.

  • Maintain rigorous asset management protocols, digital delivery pipelines, and brand governance libraries for multi-location enterprise brands.

4. Creative Quality & Commercial Enablement

  • Establish and uphold the quality benchmarks, proofing frameworks, and technical delivery specs for visual and audio assets deployed on commercial networks.

  • Partner with Sales and Enterprise Account Directors to scope complex client briefs, design tailored operational delivery models for large client RFPs, and represent service capabilities in executive client presentations.

  • Manage the department operating budget, monitoring labor costs, freelance spend, software overhead, and vendor ROI.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in media operations, high-volume creative services, digital out-of-home (DOOH) operations, or agency production operations.

  • 5+ years in a people-management role directly leading managers or distributed operational teams (in-house and offshore/contractor) of 15+ personnel.

  • Demonstrated experience running SLA-bound, high-throughput delivery systems (e.g., thousands of monthly deliverables across digital signage, localized commercial messaging, or dynamic display assets).

  • Deep familiarity with enterprise production tech stacks: Enterprise CMS/DAM platforms, work management platforms (Jira, Workfront, Asana, Monday.com), and centralized digital delivery engines.

  • Financial and operational acumen: Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar departmental budgets, tracking cost-per-deliverable, and designing capacity models.

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Media Production, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in retail media networks (RMN), digital out-of-home (DOOH), commercial audio/visual environments, or commercial broadcast hub operations.

  • Proven background spearheading workflow automation, AI tool adoption, or production pipeline modernization.

  • Experience supporting enterprise B2B sales teams in scoping delivery commitments for Fortune 500 accounts.
