| Pay: $20/hourSchedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm with scheduled weekend work when necessaryResponsibilitiesSupport a variety of laboratory and data management activities within the Global Genotyping team based on business needs and workflow priorities.Perform routine laboratory procedures following established methods, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training protocols.Execute laboratory tasks including sample preparation, tissue grinding, DNA extraction, quantification, normalization, and operation of automated laboratory equipment.Assist with high-throughput genotyping workflows and related laboratory operations.Perform data analysis, data review, and information management activities to support research and development objectives.Identify, document, and communicate unexpected results, equipment issues, or process deviations to appropriate laboratory personnel.Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.Collaborate with laboratory staff and technical personnel to meet project timelines and team objectives.Demonstrate flexibility to learn and perform work across multiple functional areas within Global Genotyping as workload demands evolve.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Chemistry, or a related scientific field preferred.Previous laboratory experience preferred (1-3 years)Experience with data analysis, data management, or quality review activities is a plus.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow written procedures.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn multiple laboratory workflows.Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.Basic computer proficiency and experience with data entry or data management systems.
