Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills * Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) validation of automotive ECUs and embedded systems. * Develop, maintain, and execute automated validation/test scripts using Python, CAPL, Robot Framework, or equivalent automation technologies. * Perform ECU software flashing, configuration, coding, and diagnostics. * Execute functional, integration, regression, and system-level validation on HIL rigs and ECU test benches. * Perform bench-level issue triaging, defect reproduction, debugging, log analysis, and root-cause investigation. * Validate automotive communication and diagnostic protocols, including CAN / CAN FD, LIN, UDS, and Automotive Ethernet DoIP / SOME-IP, where applicable. * Develop and execute test cases based on system/software requirements. * Analyze CAN/LIN/Ethernet traces and diagnostic responses to identify communication and functional issues. * Perform vehicle-level functional and diagnostic validation, including reproduction and verification of ECU/system defects. * Report defects with appropriate logs, traces, reproduction steps, and supporting technical evidence. * Collaborate with software development, systems, diagnostics, integration, and vehicle validation teams for defect resolution. * Support validation maturity through increased test automation and regression coverage. Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
