Overview

A Business Development Representative is an emerging sales professional who manages the initial stages of the sales lifecycle, beginning with identifying potential customers through qualifying leads and booking client meetings. While working as an BDR at Judge Healthcare, you will own a challenging role which is focused on continuous growth, varied responsibilities and one where your efforts will yield direct rewards.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Lead Prospecting:

    BDRs find new leads and connect with them through cold calling, emails, social media, and other available methods.

Education:

  • BDRs educate prospects about the Judge's products and services and help them understand how the company's solutions can address their needs.

Qualifying:

  • BDRs, along with their mentor, determine which prospects are likely to make a purchase and are a good fit for the company.

Communicating:

  • BDRs communicate with other sales team members to ensure leads have a smooth experience. They also communicate with lead prospects through a variety of channels, including phone, email, and in-person.

Data Collection:

  • BDRs gather key sales data and conduct customer research.
  • BDRs are the first point of contact for potential customers, so they need to be resourceful, engaging, and efficient. They should have strong communication skills, be able to build relationships, and have a creative mindset.
  • BDRs are different from sales executives, who execute deals. The BDRs' key performance indicator (KPI) is the number of qualified leads, which turn into attended meetings, that they generate each month


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • BA/BS degree OR equivalent work experience
  • 1 year minimum in a B2B sales OR recruitment/staffing environment
  • Sales lead prospecting experience
  • Closing new business
  • Familiarity with CRMs
  • The drive and desire to achieve meaningful and measurable results and to ultimately develop as a sales professional.
  • A positive attitude and desire to win. If you thrive on challenges and have a proven history of consistently achieving quotas or objectives, this job is for you.
