Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technician to join our Women's Health team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing high-quality ultrasound examinations for prenatal care, including fetal anatomy scans, growth assessments, and Doppler studies. As a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of expectant mothers and their babies.

Assist MFM physician in:

History taking and presentation of complex MFM patient cases to the physician.

Interpretation of the technical aspects of the completed examination.

Performance of invasive fetal procedures.

Practice sterile technique and prevent cross contamination.

Travel to outreach clinics as needed.

Assist in the transfer of patients to and from the examination table and operate proper immobilization devices for positioning or transporting as required.


Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) from an accredited program.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
  • Proficiency in using ultrasound equipment and image processing software.
  • Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy, physiology, and prenatal development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
