The Enrollment Events Coordinator responsible for all aspects of events and the visitor experience including planning and executing all recruitment events, coordinating campus visits, and managing student workers. The primary objective of this role is to support the delivery of events and visits that focus on recruiting and enrolling prospective students to WCTC. The Enrollment Events Coordinator will be part of the Recruitment & Engagement department and work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of events and visits that align with the college's enrollment objectives and enhance the student experience.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of enrollment events and visits targeted toward engaging prospective students, alumni, school counselors, or other constituents
- Directly hire, train, schedule, and provide day-to-day management of Campus Ambassadors/student workers related to enrollment events, tours, and other initiatives as needed
- Coordinate all aspects of event and campus visit logistics including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, decor, equipment setup, signage, and other logistical requests or needs. Provide on-site direction for enrollment events and campus visits including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors, and sponsors to ensure smooth operations, adherence to timelines, and a positive experience. Coordinate Campus Ambassadors/student workers and volunteers to support event or campus visit logistics and enhance the student experience
- Collaborate with the enrollment services team and the marketing department to develop promotional materials, event or campus visit materials, and targeted messaging to increase attendance and engagement. Monitor registration and communications to ensure a seamless experience for attendees or participants
- Assist in cultivating relationships with businesses, community organizations, high schools, and other external partners to expand event reach and foster collaborative opportunities
- Manage and adhere to event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective planning and execution of events. Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to optimize resources and maximize value for the college
- Develop and implement event evaluation strategies to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Analyze data, surveys, processes, campus feedback, and key indicators for each event to develop best practices for event effectiveness

Minimum Qualifications
-
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience in event planning and visit coordination, preferably in a higher education setting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, projects, and student workers simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, external partners, and various audiences
- Proficiency in event management software, registration platforms, and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work effectively on a team and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel as required for events
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's degree with three (3) years' experience or Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience in education, event planning, event management, or a related field

The Enrollment Events Coordinator supports the Recruitment and Engagement department and is available to start immediately, and will remain opened until filled.
This position is a 32 hours per/week position (.80FTE). Salary Salary is commensurate based on experience and is listed at the hiring range of the current salary table. Salary will be prorated based on .80FTE. All applicants must submit a completed application along with a current resume and cover letter.
