Psychiatrist

Northeast Medical Group seeks Psychiatrist to work at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, CT.
Will provide counseling and outpatient psychotherapy to adult patients on a continuing basis; provide diagnostic assessment and psychiatric treatment to patients with symptoms of mental illness or emotional distress in Outpatient Psychiatric Unit, Emergency Room, or Inpatient Unit; examine, evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric disorders; preparing and reviewing case histories, creating treatment plans; refer patients for additional specialty mental healthcare as needed; document care in web-based tracking system shared with PCPs and other treating providers.
Candidates must have M.D. (foreign equivalent accepted), completion of Psychiatry residency program, valid CT physician license, and BE/BC in Psychiatry, prior to employment commencing.
