Job Description |
HCC is seeking
CDL motor coach drivers to drive a 33-passenger, diesel-fueled coach bus to transport
HCC student athletes, coaches, students, and College employees to and from College-sanctioned events. The driver is responsible for the vehicle while they are the operator and for the safety of the passengers to and from destinations. Additional duties include maintaining the condition of vehicle, including cleaning upon return from each trip and timely reporting of any mechanical or condition issues that may arise.
Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified.

Required Education |
High school diploma or
GED equivalent. |
Required Experience |
Experience driving a motor coach or similar vehicle. |
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities |
CDL license with Class B Passenger Endorsement. Must be at least 25 years of age to drive College vehicles due to insurance requirements. A good driving record with fewer than three points is required. |
Preferred Qualifications |
One year of commercial driving experience is preferred. |
General Weekly Work Schedule |
General work schedule is as-needed, averaging less than ten hours per week, and may include evening and weekend hours. Work schedule will be determined by the supervisor. |
