On- Site Cleared Cyber Security Engineer

Join AIS as we assist our client with some of the most exciting cutting-edge cloud technologies to asst with our country's intelligence projects. As our client sponsor works to modernize systems and move mission applications to the cloud, you will provide recommendations on security policies, procedures, and requirements. Provide quality services that facilitate seamless software development lifecycle and API and Gateway with modern data repository services. AIS is looking for someone passionate about helping our country's defense through a 100% on-site position. TS/SCI with full-scope poly is required.

• Provide support for planning future architectures, infosec assurance and accreditation, Configuration Management and System Engineering for legacy and future complex portfolio of data tools.

• Will provide recommendations on security policies, procedures, and requirements related to safeguarding systems and provide security support for the development and accreditation of systems.

• Review security plans, evaluate risk mitigations, provide feedback and guidance related to compliance with current policies and assist cloud systems security policy and requirements for system design, development, and operations.

Will work 100% on site in Chantilly, VA.

US Citizenship

Must have and maintain a TS/SCI with full scope polygraph

• Demonstrated experience performing as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE).

• Demonstrated experience supporting systems security practices, policies, regulations, or guidelines.

• Demonstrated experience with system design concepts and implementation, with emphasis on cyber security principles, issues, and technology.

• Demonstrated experience with cloud security engineering.

Nice to have skills

• Demonstrated experience with information security protocols and software.
