Resource Adequacy, a key priority within MISO's Market Redefinition initiatives, ensures that adequate resources are available to reliably meet demand. We are seeking a talented Engineer II Resource Adequacy, to take ownership of the Planning Reserve Auction schedule, ensuring milestones are met and progress remains on track. You'll be responsible for tracking where we stand at any point in the process and effectively communicating updates to stakeholders. As an Engineer II in Resource Adequacy, you will lead efforts in monitoring a high-visibility process, communicating status updates, and working with stakeholders. Additionally, you may contribute to in-depth data analytics to uncover resource adequacy trends and patterns, offering insights and developing automated visualizations to aid decision-making. Bachelors of Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology (required)

Looking for individuals skilled in data management and analysis, with expertise in SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, etc. and a proven ability to deliver both numeric results and actionable insights from diverse data sources. (preferred)
Related experience with Electric or Power Systems, Gas, Energy Industry, ISO/RTOs, and energy markets. (preferred) Previous resource adequacy, transmission planning, or RTO experience. (preferred) Specific experience with any of the following: GADs, LOLE studies, probabilistic assessment, or transmission planning. (preferred) Related Planning Reserve Auction or capacity market experience is highly preferred. (preferred) 2 years: Expereince related to role. (required) |
