Dean College of Education

Job Description

The College of Education is seeking a positive, responsible, proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills who will help usher graduate students throughout their graduate career in our program and provide general support for the Dean's Office personnel.

Key Responsibilities
You will:

  • Serve as the main contact with the Graduate School, which will include monitoring our doctoral admission queues;
  • Work will graduate students to complete necessary forms for graduate certificates, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees;
  • Coordinate annual applications, communications with and assignments for graduate assistantships;
  • Support the associate dean for graduate programs in developing academic plans;
  • Provide support to the Dean and others in the development of communication and marketing for College events and programs;
  • Communicate with the Business Support team and department chairs to assist with the scheduling of doctoral classes and hiring of graduate students;
  • Other duties as assigned based on your specific skill set and interests.

Shift

8am-5pm; M-F

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a higher education setting

Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $20.00 -21/hour
