The Data Scientist is responsible for using an analytics skillset with a client facing lens to bring actionable insight to WellSky solutions and collaborates with our solution teams to bring solutions to market. This role is responsible for synthesizing and leveraging datasets to enhance point of care solutions.

A day in the life!

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Collect, process, and analyze structured data from various sources
  • Identify patterns, trends, and insights to support decision making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and present findings
  • Implement and validate cutting edge algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes
  • Continuously monitor and improve data accuracy, quality, and efficiency

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience
  • 2-4 years of experience delivering data science outcomes and use of analytical, mathematical, and technical skills

Do you stand above the rest?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in applying data science techniques to healthcare data
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS or Python
  • Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling
  • Experience with healthcare data standards, terminologies, and electronic health records
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
