Henry Ford Maplegrove Center is the first residential addiction treatment center in Michigan to be named a Blue Distinction Center for Substance Use Treatment and Recovery for its expertise in providing quality care and excellent patient outcomes. This is the opportunity for you to support clients in a team-oriented environment.



  • Psychotherapist will work Hybrid Schedule: Hybrid Schedules are available for those who are heavily qualified and have extensive experience in the addiction treatment field. Hybrid clinicians will be provided a laptop and will work 50% remote and 50% in the office after the initial on-site training period.
  • A substance use disorder therapist provides compassionate care thru several mediums which include psychoeducation and individual and group therapy.
  • Therapist will be responsible for Initial assessments to develop a patient centered treatment plans. Provide care in both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate family sessions as needed.
  • Responsible for completing all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents in a clear, concise, timely, manner.
  • Evaluate patients' needs for aftercare planning and complete prior to discharge. Provide crisis intervention to patients as needed.
  • Psychotherapist also provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
  • Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one-year supervised post masters experience; OR master's degree in social work with two years post master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Licensed Psychologist; OR Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed master's in social work. Licensed Certified Substance Use Disorder Therapist
