Description This position will be responsible for daily maintenance at the Port Neches and Lake Charles facility. Job duties including troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues. Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria as a minimum requirement for the position: A High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years maintenance/construction craft experience in a petrochemical manufacturing facility. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to learn Conscientiousness about work and punctuality Initiative to take on additional responsibilities. Thoughtful responses to emergencies Resourcefulness Flexibility Good Interpersonal skills Ability to trouble-shoot and make decisions Strong Safety awareness and mindset Good communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite NCCCO certification for fixed and swing cab cranes preferred. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and inspection Experience with equipment use - backhoe, mini excavator, forklifts etc. Ability to work with others. Bolt up, breakdown equipment and rigging experience. Physical Demand Statement: Work is primarily moderate; exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and/or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects The ability to perform the following activities for 3-4 hours at a time: stand and walk, climb stairs and ladders, lift at least 50 pounds and open/close valves up to 16 inches.
