Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct drug candidate asset and indication evaluations -- lead development of preliminary TPPs and differentiation hypothesis with cross functional team
    • Evaluate market opportunity, unmet need, patient segmentation, and treatment paradigms
    • Translate clinical data into clear commercial implications and strategic recommendations

    • Monitor evolving standard of care, pricing dynamics, and access considerations across key markets
    • Synthesize primary and secondary market research into actionable insights

Evidence & Development Strategy Input

    • Identify evidence gaps required to support future pricing, reimbursement, and differentiation
    • Ensure alignment between clinical development plans and future market access needs

Lead without formal authority

    • Manage external partners that support asset evaluation; serve as conduit between internal program teams and analytic partners
    • Comfortable building from scratch (frameworks, models, narratives)
    • Act as a key commercial voice within cross-functional asset teams
    • Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD)
  • 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma, with a strong focus on commercial strategy, new product planning, or consulting
  • Demonstrated experience supporting drug development decisions (preclinical through Phase 3)
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect clinical data to commercial outcomes
  • Deep understanding of drug development, market access, and healthcare ecosystems
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills (forecasting, valuation)
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments
  • Highly collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills
